Android app: Back button in reading mode is broken

When I open a collection, then open a bookmark in the Android app to read the article, then click on a link inside the article and then tap the back button, it will jump back to the collection. I have to open the article again and scroll to the part where I had clicked on the link.
This is the number one reason why I'm not using raindrop a lot to actually read articles even though that had been the reason why I had paid for raindrop premium in the first place.
The correct implementation of the back button would be not only that it jumps back to the article I was reading but also to the exact location within that article where I clicked the link.
I wish raindrop handled links inside articles like Omnivore does: On long tap, give me the opportunity to open it in a browser, or to save it as a bookmark. And when I open it in a browser, after tapping the back button, bring me back exactly to where I left.

Seconded. This is a painful flow and basically has trained me not to click links in articles. If I choose to open the article in chrome vs the app I sacrifice highlighting.
