Browsing large collections issue

So I have large collections. When I scroll through and click on a bookmark and go back again it never goes back to where I just was, it jumps. This makes it virtually impossible to properly browse as I never know where I am. Is there any way to fix that? Windows 10/Chrome and iPhone 10.

I frequently encounter a frustrating UX behavior where I would navigate a collection to edit some bookmarks. Going back to the collection just after a couple of edits on the bookmark, the collection scroll position would get reset to some unexplained position (I have no idea why it gets there).
It seems to me that this is a bug, because if the scroll reset was on purpose, it would probably be at the top of the list.

I started from the bottom of my collection, went on doing some edits then wanted to come back where I was, ended up somewhere in the middle of the list.
