I would like the ability to add password protection to public pages so that only people with the password can access them.
hakanbayik
I share bookmark collections with my students that contain lesson resources. While these pages do not include sensitive personal data, I am not comfortable with them being openly accessible to everyone on the internet. A password option would allow controlled sharing without making the pages fully public.
Additionally, it is unclear whether public pages are indexed by search engines. There is no clear information about this in the help documentation. Clarification and more privacy control options (such as password protection or “unlisted” pages) would be very helpful for educators and other users who want limited sharing rather than full public visibility.

Rustem Mussabekov The hidden/visible part of this request would be programmatically easily to implement with Reserved Word tags such as NSFW, Secret, Hidden, Private, Sensitive, etc. which the user can add when saving the bookmark (or add/remove later as desired) which would tell the program to
not
display those specific bookmarks in the sidebar (or show as an existing duplicate in the Add New Bookmark function - very important, easily overlooked!
) unless the user has explicitly selected one or more of those tags to show them - perhaps after some additional authentication, even just a PIN.Kevlar
I need this, everything would be more comfortable tbh

I use a section of my Raindrop to store links to things I've downloaded, and I'd love to be able to hide items in a collection or with a certain tag so they don't show in regular views or search, but can be turned back on if I see fit. It could also be good for NSFW, too.
HIGOR
when will it be complete?
mizzyc
HIGOR the dev tagged this as "Planned" in 2019, and 6 years later, he didn't even started it 🫠
Rustem Mussabekov can you at least give us, the people who pay for your app, any reply about this feature (and all others that never got developed in many years)?
mizzyc
Rustem Mussabekov this will ever be made or can I unsubscribe already?

This is my “don’t buy Pro and keep an eye out for a different service” blocker. Spicy art is a mood, no need to have it in with everything else every time I open the app. It doesn’t even need to be
secured
(at least for my preferences), just isolated from “all items”.…from a Pocket evacuee that just used “archive” for that purpose.

Can't fathom why this isn't a feature yet. It's obviously a popular request.
