I would suggest possibly just a word count as well that could be searchable. Then you could search for the number of articles you want to read with <500 words for quick reads. >2000 for longer reads - etc. Then it is agnostic to reading speeds of users but a suggested reading time would be pretty cool as well if maybe it could be set by user.

I usually adopt the Reading View on Firefox or Vivaldi that provide a reading time estimate.
This feature would allow me to read inside the preview (which is what I prefer) without the need to go to the web page.

This would help me out a lot. This may seem like a minor feature.
However, this would help me and others significantly. Organizing our bookmarks by read time would be amazing as well. I'd love a "sort by read time" on all of the bookmarks as well as a "sort by read time" feature within the folders themselves.

Here's my current workaround since this feature is not available. I install this Chrome extension call Reading Time:
Take a quick test of your reading speed and set that in the extension options. So before bookmarking an article to Raindrop, I would note the estimated time and add that to the bookmark description for reference later. Also articles I migrate over from Instapaper and Pocket I log the estimated time into the description.
You can also use tags for the estimated read time.

Read time would definitely help my process. Right now, I dump everything into Unsorted and when I have time to read things, I will do it, then either delete or save it in a collection.
Knowing that I have three articles at 3mins reading time each vs 17mins each, changes how I manage my time.
