Feature request

There are many people, like me, who prefer not to be on a monthly / annual subscription, but pay once for life. So a kind of lifetime license for pro versions.

In this time, I am on the horns of a dilemma cause I want to add my bookmarks into multiple collections without duplicate them. I'd like that feature as soon as possible =)

Its great update. I've been using raindrop.io since the first launch !!!

Warn users when adding a duplicate bookmark. This would show them where that link already exists, saving time from duplicate cleanup later on.

parent & children tags to form a more useful taxonomy

Being able to choose a different color for each tag would make it much easier & more efficient to (1) find the tag you're looking for from the list on the sidebar & (2) find any bookmarks with a certain tag from a collection. I know you can just use the tag in the search bar to filter the collection, but sometimes I want to still be able to view the whole collection simultaneously. Plus it's just slower to have to type in the search and wait for it to load, and then maybe go back to the whole collection if I didn't find what I was looking for.

The ability to make a note from text only, no URL or file. This could make it a serious evernote/google keep replacement.

It would be nice to archive read bookmarks, so we can track what was read and what's on the reading list.

Like "Smart playlists" in iTunes. You create conditions (topic, title/description/text contains string, multiple tags, type, date..etc...) and all bookmarks automatically puts to specified collection. Think of it as "saved search"

This would work a bit like the ClearURL extension for Firefox. Tracking elements would be removed from urls, either automatically if you enable an option or maybe when a button is pressed in each individual item that is saved. An example would be amazon.tld/dp/productcode - everything after this is for tracking and could be removed
