In some websites, the content will be showed only after login (for example, the Information or the Economist). Or some can only showed after several clicks.
I think save content with browser (not with server) will solve these problems.

Allows to upload pdf version of a bookmark
P
Plop
I often bookmark pages from media websites or academic platforms that require registration. In that case, Raindrop only save a partial version of the page and not the full content (as it doesn't have access to it). I can get a pdf an upload it, but then I loose the origin source of the publication, which I really need. The only solution I have found so far is to upload the pdf separately but then I end up having two entries for the same document.
Would it be possible to upload pdf of a bookmark and allow to highlight on both?

Have an option to locally cache webpage with permissioned access like Evernote

I wish raindrop.io allows users to have an option to archive a webpage locally from user cache, like Evernote, instead of having the raindrop.io server archiving it. Yes, this takes more time and is not as efficient as having the raindrop.io server archive webpages, but this way users can archive a webpage that requires permissioned access (i.e. username and passcode) that is not accessible to the raindrop.io server.

Bump! The permanent library feature will be much more useful with the ability to archive pages behind paywalls!
