It happens to me quite a lot of time when I type fast and click outside from the window to close the extension, and then I click on mini app again and figured tags were not saved

Hello, this is still a problem on my side. Rustem Mussabekov could you please remove the "complete" status on this bug and investigate? Thanks.

pHneutre: please share more details, what browser, what exact steps?

Rustem Mussabekov For steps, please see my post merged by Canny AI below. For specs, I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to happen only on Firefox 128.13.0esr (64 bits) on Debian and not on my Firefox 128.12.0esr (64 bits) on Ubuntu.

pHneutre: Pressing Escape for me is like pressing "cancel". To press "Enter" is more logical in this case isn't?

Rustem Mussabekov I disagree, Escape is the quickest way to close the extension pop-up. Especially when I added several tags, I wouldn't imagine none of them would be saved. Anyway the behavior is inconsistent between my two browsers.
Rustem Mussabekov
pHneutre: Try to save a text file or any other file and press Escape when you asked to confirm, what happens? I can't imagine that some one trait Escape as a confirmation.
Please use Enter to be sure that everything is saved. Pressing Escape on a tags field traited as cancel, I will not change it.

Rustem Mussabekov Okay, thanks for your time. (in a txt file esc doesn't do anything in general and the action of closing always asks for a "save" confirmation, so I stand my ground :))
Rustem Mussabekov
pHneutre I still find treating Escape as a confirmation action counterintuitive

Currently happening a lot on my side. I'm available for helping debug if necessary (as a user, not a dev).

Browser extension: save added tags before leaving
p
pHneutre
Currently, when I quick-save a page to the Raindrop extension, when I add tags, then hit Escape to close the extension window, tags are not saved. What happens is that if I remain in the tags field when I hit escape, the content I just added in the field is not saved.
What I expect is that when I hit escape while the tags field is in focus, the tags I just entered are saved. Technically it can be done by either 1) save all fields whenever Escape is hit; or 2) save after each tag is added rather than when the field loses focus.
Why is it important? Because saving a page I'm browsing is a quick and automatic task for my brain, for which I'm naturally looking for the smallest number of actions (click and key hitting).
