Highlights in Firefox (not working)

It seems that highlights in Firefox are not working.
Maybe it's permissions fault. Even if I check tabs permission in extension options it then changes to unchecked and highlight can't be done.
There's "Additional permission required to use Highlights" information when clicking highlights in Raindrop via Bookmark Menu icon, but when I choose "continue' nothing happens.
PS. ALT+SHIFT+H shortcut isn't working too, it's History drop-down menu shortcut.

Why was my bug report merged into a completed issue? It's not completed at all and it seems to be a different bug! It's not the first time, the Canny AI Bot takes rather uncanny merging decisions. This way you actively discourage users to report bugs. Is this what you want?
Raindrop is rather useless for me at the moment because of this issue and it is NOT FIXED.

Firefox addon is broken: only first highlight is saved

I reinstalled the firefox addon and gave all permissions it demanded. I use Firefox 141.0.3. Only the first highlight is saved, afterwards the click on "Save Highlights" just does nothing.

save highlights not working with the extension for firefox

After selecting the text to highlight and selecting "save highlights" from the pop-up menu, nothing happens. However sometimes things seem to start to work, but actually after one successful highlight, any subsequent fails. The issue appeared today and is not present on Chrome.

'Save Highlight' not working in the browser
j

Tested on:
- Browser = Firefox
- System = Linux Fedora 42 & Gentoo
This very regularly happens to me. Sometimes on the first try it creates a highlight but on many websites or on repeated uses it just does nothing.
I have no idea why this is happening but I'm willing to help troubleshoot this issue further with some instructions and help.

Highlights have stopped working in Firefox

I can no longer add highlights to articles using the raindrop.io extension. I haven't changed anything other than updating Firefox -- latest version 140.0.4 (aarch64)
The first highlight action works ok -- after that there is nothing happening when I right-click on selected text or when I opt for Save Highlights.
I really am trying to avoid having to use Chrome instead...

Rustem Mussabekov: Thanks you so much for your work. No worries about the delay, you did it and that's what really few apps and teams can be proud of. Thanks again and have a nice day !

Mathis Gauthey: I just wanted to add that there is still an issue when using the shortcut on my end. It works but it has this annoying banner every first time I highlight with shortcut from browser start.

I still see no update for that bug. It's such a shame, I lose so much time using my right click for highlighting hundred of text every week. I really hope the dev will be able to solve that, the shortcut works for saving pages but not for highlights, it shouldn't be that big. At least I hope !

I found a solution to this bug after about a week of checking possible solutions. Here is the temporary fix for the Raindrop.io Highlights problem in Firefox:
InOn the page you want to use highlthe ight, select some text. Then right-click and select the Raindrop.io icon (Save highlights). You need to repeat it for each page.
P.S:
It is so disappointing that Raindrop.io did not provide any support for solving this problem. I was going to purchase the Raindrop.io pro after seeing the highlight feature. However, my mind is changed after such an unacceptable support.
