Highlights on linked articles are associated to the wrong bookmark

Before, when I would click on a link in an article and then highlight something on that second article, raindrop would automatically create a new bookmark in the Unsorted collection. That was expected behaviour.
Now it is shown as highlight of the first bookmark from where I clicked! So there are highlights of text that do not exist at all in the article and that I will never find again because I don't know on which Iink I clicked and the link could even be removed later.
I'm honestly tired of finding new bugs every time I use this app. Please invest in some serious testing and QA before implementing new features.

Oh this stupid, stupid canny bot. Drives me crazy. It's too different bugs!!! Why are they both reported by me? It's nobody actually reading their bookmarks?

Before, I could read an article, click a link, highlight something there, and it would create a new bookmark in the Unsorted category with the correct highlight. Now nothing happens. I have the little highlight menu but the highlight is not really saved, not even the new bookmark.
