In Mac app, about 40-50% of the app screen is used to show the 2 sidebar. It's too much space occupied as our main focus is "read", would be awesome if we could change the sidebar size.

Not sure why this is marked as "complete", since I still don't see a way to hide the Sidebar completely. 🤔

Apple had design guidelines with a "new" sidebar, like the one in Photos, Mail and Calendar. It would be great to have this in the Mac and iPad app: cleaner interface, more screen for content and it looks better.

Hey also noticed that when on the beta.raindrop.io in Chrome on ChromeOS, clicking on "user name"->settings does not give me the settings page where I can access the profile and other things like having links open in a new tab.

As I have manny nested and again nested folders I cant see the full name of my folders. For that reason it would be great to be able to expand the folders panel. I am a truly Raindrop fan. really love it :) Thank you

Have problems in Chrome on Chrome OS where whenever I try to drag the sidebar open or smaller, it tends to grab a bookmark like I want to move it somewhere. I think the tolerance of grab needs to be a bit larger so a bookmark is not accidentally grabbed instead of or in addition to. Also I find that the whole beta app is not as responsive. Assuming that's because of all of the development code.

Tad Lewis: Thanks, will make grab area larger. What exactly works slow?

Rustem Mussabekov: The whole interface compared to production. It just may be that; DEV vs PROD. Testing today though, it seems better. Maybe it's just bandwidth issues.

Please help us in Beta test of this feature: https://beta.raindrop.io

Looks promissing - the cursor should however change to "finger point" if you hover over the small triangle which expands the collection tree (which it does change but when hovering over the text only)

Adrian Sosialuk: Good point

Rustem Mussabekov: I really like the double-click feature, nice addition.

Rustem Mussabekov: Lack of scroll bar actionable area - there is a trend lately, to make the scroll bar background the same colour as the box it controls. This creates FRUSTRATION, and inconsistent! When using the scroll bar outside the dark-grey bar, the user is FORCED to wave the mouse around to find the position where there is NOT a Collections actionable-area/pointer cursor and MAKE THE ASSUMPTION that clicking will give the desired result (paging the box). Is there a double ended, vertical cursor available for scroll bars?

Rustem Mussabekov : Thank's for this feature in beta :)
In this beta feature, the "filters" and "tags" menu are expanded and for a user which have a lot of tags, the list/menu is very long.

Andy Lankin: Thanks, will make scrollbar area more prominent

Matt M.: Those sections are collapsible
Andy Lankin
Rustem Mussabekov: Thanks for understanding; I look forward to the effect. Cheers.

Very disappointed, just purchased the pro version and can't read the nested collection names because the left panel isn't expandable!! It's a basic feature for pro users. What's the point of paying for the nested collections feature if you can't see them?

On the same token: Resize the wide side bar (public collection view). I'm reposting this one, for some reason it's disappeared (maybe posting too much same day?
