Cheap 1$ plan

I would be glad to pay 1$/year for a plan with every feature except storage-intensive ones (no upload, no site content snapshot, etc)

Our Free plan is incredibly generous—there are no limits on bookmarks, collections, tags, or highlights. You get unlimited search, backups, integrations, sharing, collaboration, and syncing across as many devices as you need—all for free.
Before upgrading, check our plan comparison: do you truly need Pro if it feels too expensive? There's no pressure—we want you to choose what works best for you. Compare plans here.
As for a $1/month plan, it's simply not viable. After transaction fees, taxes, and refunds, the actual income for us is nearly zero.

Hi Raindrop Team,
You're awesome! I love using Raindrop for bookmarking. I have a great idea for a new plan that could make your service even more awesome.
Right now, the Pro plan has file storage, but not everyone needs that. How about a new plan that only has bookmarking, and costs less? Here are the details:
- No file storage.
- Pricing options:
- $1 per month
- $10 per year
This new plan would be perfect for users who just want to bookmark without paying extra for file storage. It would make Raindrop more flexible and affordable.
I know you have a lot to think about when it comes to plans, and I respect that. But I think this change would make Raindrop the best bookmarking service ever.
Please let me know what you think of this idea and if you're interested in launching this new plan.
Thanks for being awesome!

Also, I would love to use Pro, but can we have India pricing. The current pricing for India is too high and not affordable.

I'm for small devs and buy every single app even it is by a donation button if its good enough. But $3/ month gtfoh. $3/year would be accetpable. Though the completely direct limited use and targeted audience.
As an accountant $$9.99 for a perpetual license is the ethicsal and a far better way to grew your customer base.
With plenty of Firefox add ons that maybe considered to be "ugly" UI'. Tg=hat can do more than this too, I'm done even using the free version.
Ask yourself as a customer who had to decide to pay $3 for an #ADD-ON# for a non-profit open-source internet browser.
An open-source and free browser if after paying $1000-$2000 computer system and a $500-$1000 monitor, just to connect to you'r excessively priced internet with a 1/4 of the stated speed 50 in most places.
Would I pay a monthly sunscription, of $3 (extremely exssive dollars) for an app that looks better than the Ulysses app I already have and do more with.
Would you?

I respect this company, and this is my honest feedback.
This is akin to Lastpass. However LastPass is 12/year. That I'm willing and happy to pay. 3/month? No way. You've got too much other competition for my monthly free cash. Netflix. Hulu. Backblaze. LastPass. Etc. Etc. You're asking too much of this pie. I bet you'd have a lot more subscriptions it it were competitive in price.
Maybe less at first. But long term and more likely to stay. Because at 1/month.. we go./ Eh. It's a buck. 3? No way.

Brenku: How does Raindrop relate to LastPass? One is a password manager, the other a bookmark manager.
They're not forcing you to become a paying customer. So you can use their service for free, or pay to use their service at their asking price, or not use their service. Instead, you waste their time asking for a "Feature Request" of lower prices.
And if you want it to be cheaper, do something constructive about it and invite more users. LastPass has a huge userbase so they're able to offer the same product at a lower price.

Brenku LastPass costs €34.80/year

It's not expensive at all, what is it with people expecting everything for nothing lately. What would you do if you boss decided to stop paying you because he thought you were too expensive but expected the same level of output from you?
