Create text only notes
Jesse Oliver
The ability to make a note from text only, no URL or file. This could make it a serious evernote/google keep replacement.

Currently I use another app (Local Send) to be able to send messages between my devices. I would like to use just one app for these things instead of two, but Raindrop.io doesn't have this feature, so I can't fully switch to just using Raindrop like I would like to.

This is the real killer feature that would allow us to migrate everything into here

this would make me fully switch from google keep to raindrop

I would love to be able to add a written note to raindrop. Or a word doc with e.g. a written recipy in my recipy collection. Or better even - being able to write the note in raindrop directly

Really love the product!
I look for something like that for a while.
I want to suggest a new data collection type to your product which allow to users to save snippets (like in python\JS\css etc..)
This can be extremely useful
Some sub-suggestions:
- Support with multiple programing languages
- Sync with GIT
- Themes per language

Able to add text to bookmark without reference
Awais Waissy
User able to
- add selected text from the webpage to the bookmark
- without adding a link or reference.
I faced a situation where I had to add some text lines from an email to Raindrop it added highlights but also added links. I removed the link but it is a required field. For text, I need to use a notion clipper maybe.

Extra feature: note editor

There is a huge overlay between Raindrop and other apps, like Evernote, Omnivore... I really like the way Raindrop organizes things, and thats what I miss from other 'capturer' apps. So if Raindrop would have note editor and maybe a webclipper too, I'd leave Evernote and other apps for this, and I mean I'd pay for it. Information hoarding is a thing now, and there is no perfect tool on the market atm. Raindrop is not too far away from becoming number one in information gathering!
