Create text only notes
Jesse Oliver
The ability to make a note from text only, no URL or file. This could make it a serious evernote/google keep replacement.

+ view settings so that the note is full screen, even if there is an URL. Right now you're cursed to read notes from like 1/5 of the screen on a mobile phone

If raindrop had a way to make notes based on a WYSIWYG - Editor with a decent formatting bar. I could definitely quit using Apple Notes or any other note-taking app i've being using until now.
Especially, if it had the possibility to link and mention saved documents and highlights to the current written note.

Great idea. Please don't go the markdown route, though.
👉 SUPPORT FOR CREATING & EDITING HTML FILES would provide all the text formatting options a modern user has come to expect, in a convenient WYSIWYG-editor – without the hassle.
Advantages:
- wide compatibility (MS Word, Evernote, Notion, ...)
- future proof
- WYSIWYG-editor
- decent formatting options (including colored text & highlights)
- no messing around with 'convenient' markdown editors
Trilium Next uses this approach - for notes - among others.

I am SHOCKED that this isn't already a feature...

I will subscribe immediately if this is implemented. Something like how it’s done in MyMind. Markdown syntax for rich formatting text.
Would use it for notes and saving quotes!
Again, like in MyMind – text with ”…” saves as a nice quote.

Currently I use another app (Local Send) to be able to send messages between my devices. I would like to use just one app for these things instead of two, but Raindrop.io doesn't have this feature, so I can't fully switch to just using Raindrop like I would like to.

This is the real killer feature that would allow us to migrate everything into here

this would make me fully switch from google keep to raindrop

I would love to be able to add a written note to raindrop. Or a word doc with e.g. a written recipy in my recipy collection. Or better even - being able to write the note in raindrop directly
