Wait, this isn't complete! There is definitely not parity between the Chrome and Safari extensions. Right? Am I missing something?

+1 Safari extension has been a miserable experience for me compared to chrome — occasionally the clipper essentially just does a redirect loop when trying to log in. A huge drawcard for raindrop.io is that it's a great cross-browser bookmark management solution... this isn't so compelling in practice due to safari extension performance. Is there a fix for this?

+1 for a good Safari extension. I don't see why it needs to be a full blown mac app. Instapaper's one works with one click and no questions asked. So it's definitely possible.

I'm just psyched to see _something_ happening with Raindrop, I was starting to search for an actively developed alternative.

2everyone: if you have problems using raindrop — disabling prevention of cross-site tracking solves the problem with login.

2raindrop team: can you use another method of authentication? like semi-hardcoded token in url or something

I agree with the other frustrated users here! The Safari extension SUCKS! I have had to resort to pinning the raindrop tab open and then manually copy/paste the link I want to save. It works but it sucks to have to do it this way!!

Indeed, just started having issues with the current extension. Just doesn't work. Keeps asking me to login with every single bookmark I try to add. Basically useless at this point. Not going to switch browsers so...no Raindrop.io for me till this is fixed! :(

+1 I always need to click the button twice to make it works, very annoying.
