Keyboard shortcuts + quick jumps
planned
Maciek Szczesniak
I've been using the beta version recently, and I think that one biggest omissions are keyboard shortcuts.
Few shortcuts that I'd found most useful:
- focus on search field ("/" or "?")
- go to folder ("g" - brings dialog that allows to type in and jump to folder via fuzzy matching)
- search for tag ("t" - opens up a dialog for typing in tag name, w/ fuzzy matching as well)
- move to folder("m")
Similar patterns could be found in most of email apps, so I guess that these should sound familiar

I'd love to optionally have focus in the Clipper popup on the TAGS field - I don't usually enter notes, just tags - currently have to press TAB twice to get there.
Perhaps it could just be another HOTKEY setting?

Use first collection found when pressing 'enter'
James Gentes
If I add a new bookmark, click the collection button, type 'audio' - it will show the 'Audio' folder, but it isn't selected if I press 'enter' so I have to click the Audio folder to choose that collection.
Please just select the first result upon 'enter' press. Thanks!

Chrome extension collection selection via keyboard

It would be great to be able to select the collection with the keyboard when saving a new link.

Enable keyboard arrows for quick order and save

It would be very usefuel to have the ability to open and insert into the collections an article just saved.
Now if I save an article, then I press "tab" to insert inside a collection, I start writing the name and it works as expected, but then, I want to select the second or third collection by using the arrows keys and this is not possible, so I have to switch to the mouse every time only to select the collection and then I can use "cmd-enter" to save.
So this make no sense that you can't select the collections via arrows keys, and is very annoying to switch to mouse only to select the correct one.
Thanks!

Enable arrow keys to select bookmarks in search results

After typing keywords to find a bookmark, it would be great if we could press the down or up arrows to start cycling through the results, and hit enter when we find the one we want.

Complete keyboard control for the app
Steven Fernandez
I wish I could navigate the app completely using the keyboard. This includes features such as previewing, deleting, reading, tagging etc. (everything). I want to be able to go through my bookmarks in the app and decide which ones to delete without constantly needing to use the mouse. It seems that keyboard support is very limited, unless I am missing something.

Keyboard entry for "select collection" (MacOS)

Mike Adams
This might exist, but I've clicked every button and combination of buttons.
While creating a new bookmark - tab down to "Collection" - search the destination "Collection" ----> then I have to reach over to the mouse; "click"; to select the collection.
I just want to be able to "enter/whatever" to select the collection.
Thank you!
P.S. I'm a newer user of Raindrop.io (~2 months) and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I will never go without again. It's one of the best apps I've ever discovered!

I'd like to be able to press command-n in the Raindrop app to bring up the "Add Bookmark" popup.
