As a workaround, to prevent dead links, the app could check Internet Archive if the page is saved there. If it isn't, save a copy there and load the archived version instead in case of 404.
That s only a workaround though, real offline support would be much better.

Important: i am not talking about saving entire article for viewing offline, I am talking about website links not showing when offline
In raindrop app when you are offline and open the app it show all the collections list but when clicking on any collections it says 'not connected to internet' any does not show any bookmark Links
In my opinion it is simple to implement because I know it store all bookmark links and related data into catch ( I know that because when I open raindrop app when I am offline and click on any collection all bookmark links are shows for just 1 second and then it says 'not connected to internet' ) "just not clear the cache when it detectes it's offline "

Hi team,
I know there's already a request for offline features (https://better.raindrop.io/feature-requests/p/offline-support-reading-viewing), but there are a lot of demands there.
Mine would just to be able to add a bookmark when I'm offline (wether on desktop or mobile). And it'd sync once online.

Hi, 1 problem prevents me from starting to use this service - in the absence of an Internet connection, all links turn into a pumpkin. And it is also very difficult to evaluate the entire list; you need a viewing mode with a compact 1-line list. Add a pj usage model like OneTab and I'm yours!
