"Open with browser" (choose which browser to open a bookmark in) [Desktop app]
伴ルカ
On the desktop I use 3 different browsers for different purposes. Safari for personal use, Chrome for developing and Firefox for work.
If on the desktop app for Mac I could choose with which browser I open a bookmark every time I click it, that would be great!
I have attached a screenshot with an example how this could be done in a clean way.

Choose which Browser opens each URL

I am using Raindrop in 4 different devices and 3 OS (Windows, Linux, Android). I handle today about 5 or 6 different browsers, each with 20-30 tabs pinned with different URLs opened. This of course takes a lot of memory in order to work properly. In my Linux and Windows computers there is not really an issue, but it is a pain in the neck with the tablet and the phone. Altogether, all this would not be necessary if I could choose what opens in Edge, what opens in Chrome (where I handle 5 profiles with different tabs each), what opens in Firefox, Floorb, Vivaldi, Opera, or Brave.
Why so many browsers? because of the cookies and the profiles. I handle several accounts of the same platform and only firefox has containeraized sessions to handle the same URL with different users. So being able to configure in each URL, with what do I open it would be great. Of course, it would be up to the user to have the same browsers installed in the different devices and OS, otherwise Raindrop would open it with its own session.

If it can't be multiple browsers, then I would prefer to be able to choose a different browser for the Windows 11 app as a whole. I use Firefox as my default, but that doesn't have the capability to share YouTube videos with my TV, so I use Edge for YouTube.

would love to have two ways of doing this, either as a permanent option to each individual site entry or as a right-click option

Would be nice to specify which installed browser should be used to open specific bookmark. If none specified, use system default.

Could be very useful to hold CMD or a hotkey when clicking Open Tab to pick which browser to use.
I use 3 browsers for work and it varies as to which I use based on link endpoints.

There's also a great app for the Mac called Choosy that lets you do this system-wide. Very helpful. https://choosy.app/

It is pretty easy to get this functionality on Mac using OpenIn App (included in SetApp subscription). But, I too would love this on iOS and iPadOS. It seems especially important for reminders, now. Reminders open in Safari, yet I would love to open them open from the alert in RainDrop first and see the reminder info there so I know why I snoozed it to begin with. So, I hope we can set defaults for Alerts separately from the default for preview or external browser opening.

Just dropping by to say that I was looking for this feature as well.

I run Raindrop on a windows 10 desktop and it would be great if there was an option that would allow me to open the URL in any of my browsers rather than always the default browser.
