Permanently store social media videos

the ability to store embedded videos from social media plattforms like youtube, facebook and other.
Often videos get deleted from social media and many users should wish to store important videos permanently in raindrop.
By now pages with videos cannot be saved permanently. There should be an option to save a page with embedded video. permanently.
If the video size is too large there should be an option to limit the video size (e.g. be reducing the quality)

The pain behind this one is real — saved videos vanish, get deleted, or drown in Watch Later, and every platform keeps its own pile.
Honest partial answer, with disclosure: I built an iOS app called MarkerShelf that tackles the "one library across platforms" half — YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and local files land in one place with tags, collections, and timestamped bookmarks, so a saved moment stays findable. It doesn't make offline copies of platform videos (that part has legal teeth), so it won't cover the full "permanent archive" ask — but for "never lose track of a saved video again" it's already usable.

Another suggestion for storing the files would be using iCloud or other similiar platforms

Any plans to implement this? It would be very useful now that TikTok is banned in the US.

When we save tiktok link for example, it would be great when the video is automaticaly downloaded to the bookmark.
