Preference to show 'All' filters by default in the web app

Maybe I'm missing something, but in the current live version of the app when I'm within a collection I can see below the search field a row of tags that are used by items within the collection, and I can click on those to filter the content of the collection. The feature request I described here is for a setting that ensures that all tags, not just a subset of them, are displayed by default when looking at a collection rather than upon clicking 'all filters' (see screenshot). I use this primarily as a one-click filter system within a collection.
Rather than being improved in the beta, from what I can see this ability now seems removed entirely? Not only can I no longer see what tags are used in the collection
at all
, but I now have to search for them? That defeats the object entirely and removes a major feature I rely on for the app as a whole - the entire reason for the feature request is to remove the need to remember or search for anything, but to expose a list of all tags on the page to view and select from without
performing any further actions.Perhaps there's a setting for this, but for me the settings link in the beta does nothing (Current Chrome release on MacOS 10.13)

For comparison, that same collection now looks like the attached screenshot. I can search for tags in the search field, but so far as I can tell there is no longer any way for me to see a list of only those tags in use within this collection. That's exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for with this feature request, and on top of that removes about 50% of how I use raindrop entirely.
I'm hoping that the 'settings' controls I am unable to access in the beta has an option to reinstate this, because it'd be a big downgrade for me if this is being rolled out…

Tobias Lee: Thank you for detailed explanation! Right now I'm considering to show filters above search field too.. thats feature definitely useful. Will try to get it back before release

Rustem Mussabekov: I guess the most important aspect of the feature for the way I use it would be a single place to view all the tags used by items within a collection. Having these laid out on-screen as they currently are is the most direct, but I think a reasonable alternative that would fit with your simplified new design direction would be a 'tags' menu item alongside the others on the right (sort order, view type, etc) that revealed a menu of the tags to use as a filter. I appreciate the UX is not directly comparable since the action would presumably change the view (to search results) than change the content displayed within the current view.

Rustem Mussabekov: I did a quick mockup of what I mean…

Rustem Mussabekov: I figure this approach could probably support multiple selections and boolean options with a toggle at the top to switch between matching 'All' and 'Any' selected tags, along with checkboxes replacing the hash icon. But that may be unnecessarily complex.

It’s beta app. In next few days I expect to release it for all users. Please help find all bugs.
