Option 2:

Please make this the highest priority.. It seems like it's such a simple feature to add and really improves the usability! I think people are struggling to find the named entry of this feature to upvote

It would be great to show this. I mostly save items in the sub-collections and use the collections as the folders (because I use the group for something else). If I click the collection, I don't see any items in its sub-collections, so I have to expand the collection to reveal the sub-collections and then click the sub-collection, which is inconvenient.

i could DESPERATELY use both this feature AND the ability to export a parent folder with all the bookmarks of its subfolders as well (rather than having to go through & export each individual subfolder or all your bookmarks as it is now). please please PLEEEEEASE!!!! 😁

View all links in sub folders

It would be nice to have like an expand all option for folder with in a subfolder. Instead of having to his show all and taking you into that specific folder. If you could stay at the level of the main folder and just expand/open all sub folder so you could scroll through one be list.

Parent Folder shows bookmarks of childs in iOS App
Oskar de Felice
It would be great to be able to see all the bookmarks that are contained within the folder and its subfolders like on the web. On iOS the parent folder is just treated as one individual folder just showing the content of itself but not from the child folders.

Main subfolder show all bookmarks.

At the present, the main hierarchical of bookmarks don't show until clicking a link to expand. Having the sub-folders not showing or kept separate would be nice too. It appears too cluttered to have it all showing in the main pane [right pane] after scrolling.

Show sub-collections and their items on mobile

Herculano Campos
In mobile I would like to see the sub-collections and their items when I’m in the parent collection.
Similar to the view on Desktop.
It actually works this way on web mobile. On web mobile it shows everything like the desktop, it should have the same behavior on the mobile app.

I want a toggle option to have the "All Bookmarks" view style on the top folder of nested collections.
Kuro Chan
Problem
The current nested collection view of the top folder with "Old view" unchecked is buggy and restrictive. I really dislike it. "All Bookmarks" is a fantastic way to view bookmarks, but I don't want my nested collections mixed together in this view.
Solution
Give us a toggle on the top folder of nested collections to view all bookmarks in the collection as we would with "All Bookmarks." Even better, give us this toggle for every folder in a nested collection that would show all bookmarks in that folder and its subfolders with an "All Bookmarks" style view.
Details and Reasoning:
Problem
The current top folder nested collection view with "Old view" unchecked is buggy and ineffective.
- Once you scroll past the end of a nested folder, if you try to scroll back up the view will snap back to the bottom of that folder instantly and block you from going back up the folder tree again. This pointless restriction feels like a bug, especially considering when trying to scroll back up with an infinite mouse wheel it will cause the screen to spasm back and forth between the bottom and top of the current folder. This experience is jarring and headache inducing.
- Each folder in the nested collection needs to have "Show all'' clicked in order to see the bookmark in the folder. This is a painful restriction in order to see the bookmarks, and after you click this you are stuck in that folder and cannot scroll to other folders anymore. Showing all bookmarks should not take you out of folder navigation.
- The mouse scroll wheel often becomes unresponsive in the top nested collection view for approximately 5 seconds after scrolling. This happens frequently enough to warrant commenting on it. This does not happen in any other program I have on my PC, nor in any other view mode in raindrop.io that I have experienced.
- If I check the "Old view" for nested collections, I am restricted to viewing only the bookmarks per folder. The unresponsive scrolling issue goes away, though.
Solution
The "All Bookmarks" view style is my preferred way to view bookmarks and would make a fantastic option for viewing a single, entire, nested collection.
- "All Bookmarks" has none of the problems of the top folder nested collection view with "Old view" unchecked. Everything is there with no buggy scrolling, and I can sort it how I wish. No 'Show all' buttons to click to see bookmarks, and no snap back issues. Everything is perfect, except….
- Why not just use "All Bookmarks" now? If I make multiple nested collections, the "All Bookmarks" will include all nested collections, which I really do not want to mix in one view. I want to see each nested collection with their own "All Bookmarks" view.
- Technically, I could do this now if I gave up having nested collections and turned each nested collection into its own folder, then I could click on each folder and have my "All Bookmarks" style view. But then what is the point of having nested collections? I might as well have the free version.
I want to have the option to toggle "All Bookmarks" style views for top level folders in nested collections. If possible, it would be awesome to have every folder have this option, and show all the bookmarks in the subfolders below it in the nested collection, but if that is not possible, I would happily settle for the "All Bookmarks" style view in the top folder only.
