There is another plugin that has much better integration. That said, having a native integration will be so much nicer.

I'm developing my own plugin, to address some specific needs/uses that I personally have not been able to find in any of the other Obsidian X Raindrop plugins... It's open source and available for anyone to tinker with.
Let me know if I can assist you with it in any way!

Made significant improvements and paved the way for upcoming features...
Please, I am in dire need of feedback from real world users and use cases... If you have any comments or suggestions, please lay them on me!
Improved (v1.6.0)
Major Code Refactoring: Implemented functional programming patterns for better maintainability and performance.
Enhanced Modularity: Separated code into dedicated utility modules for file operations and API interactions.
Improved Error Handling: More robust error recovery and user feedback during API operations.
Better Rate Limiting: Refined rate limiting strategy with more intelligent retry logic for API requests.
TypeScript Improvements: Fixed type definitions and eliminated compiler warnings for more reliable operation.
Fixed (v1.5.1)
Fixed collection hierarchy to properly maintain nested folder structure when no filter options are selected.
Improved rate limiting logic with more conservative limits and longer delays between retries.
Added small delays between consecutive API calls to reduce rate limit issues.
Added user-visible notices during rate limit waiting periods.
Fixed JSON parsing issues with API responses.

I would love to be able to use Raindrop to manage all external resources and integrate with obsidian.

More of a competitor than an integration, but it's worth checking out the Obsidian Web Clipper (https://help.obsidian.md/web-clipper).
It's a browser extension from Obsidian that lets you save links to your vault with fully customizable (even AI prompt-driven) frontmatter and full article content. There's even a highlights picker.

Please, deliver this feature. So many people are looking for an actual solid way to connect a capture/bookmark solution to a Second brain solution.

It has to be like omnivore obsidian plugin or like the raindrop plugin for logseq.

Native Plugin would be the best option, but the plugin by kaiiiz does the job pretty nicely.
